Crazy Planet: Ghosts, Folk Monsters, and Aliens in Manga – An Aspect of Japanese Media Art 2016
Overseas program of the Japan Media Arts Festival, hosted by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japanese Government.
The exhibition picks up a number of works that deal with everyday interaction between different worlds as an aspect of Japan’s visual arts. It places special focus on the latest exemplars, the works of Ryo Hirano, to explore his contemporary inspiration.
