The Rockbund area, located in the northern part of Shanghai’s Bund, has seen the completion of a 17-year-long building renovation and reconstruction project. To commemorate this, the first edition of the biennial “RAM Assembles,” directed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect David Chipperfield, was held. This is a review of the renovation and RAM Assembles (written in Japanese).
